Turn your Heart

Turn (your heart) to me, face me now, and be saved wherever you are. Is 45:22 Several translations speak of looking to God to be saved as turning to Him.  The Passion Translation says ‘turn your heart’.  This reflects the love relationship God seeks,  to be totally abandoned to Him, not half hearted in our commitment.   ‘When you are half-hearted and wavering it leaves you unstable.  Can you really expect to receive anything  from the Lord when you’re in that condition?’ James 1:7-8 TPT Proverbs 3:5 says ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart.  In Proverbs 23:26 God implores us, ‘My son, give me your heart.’ Luke 10:27 repeats … Continue reading

His Hand can turn the hurtful harmful situations to good. Sometimes  we encounter adverse situations. Life is not always ‘plain sailing.’ Turn to Him. He knows. He cares. Keep your rudder set to seek Him. He can calm the stormy seas or  provide safe harbour in the storm. He can lead you out of the wilderness or provide an oasis … Continue reading
