Win not Spin

Some washing machines stick in the spin cycle because they do not have enough weight in them. Like us when we don’t put enough weight behind forward momentum. Without targets and determination we can get stuck in the spin cycle Responding and reacting instead of being proactive. Initiating change. Forget the long term targets if they always remain illusive and unattainable. Set short term goals. Start today with one thing that has been on that endless list And determine to win not spin! Phil. 3:14

Win against Sin

The Sin of the unbeliever  is  against God’s laws. The Sin of the believer  is  against God’s love. If we really loved Him we would not want  to  hurt Him or let Him down. when the focus is on sin we lose. when the focus is on Him we win!  Ps. 51:4 (from Devotional ‘A Living Sacrifice” p. 13)

Tomorrow is Another Day!

Do you have any idea what God is calling you to? Sometimes it is as illusive as tomorrow is to today. He would have us live in today. Embracing the here and now Not running from it. Getting to grips with Who we are today Before we can become Who He would have us be Tomorrow. 2 Cor 4:16-18

Today

Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Like an empty canvas A blank page Savour the moment you start the day Contemplate how you will fill it. Do something beautiful. Think something beautiful. See something beautiful. Say something beautiful. Make something beautiful. Be something beautiful. Ps 118:24/ Heb 3:15
