Provision

How purposeful is the goodness of God? He is so keen to set us free  He even forgives unintentional sin.  (Heb 9:8) Why? To clear our conscience! What for? So we may serve God. (Heb 9:14) A guilty conscience hampers our relationship.  We come to God with reservations,  carrying baggage Jesus wants to take.   Clothed in shameful rags  when He has made provision for all things new.   You are a new creation (2 Cor 5:17)      You  have a new identity. Even a new name! (Rev 2:17)

Blind Spot

We all have a  blind spot. The enemy targets it. Where are you vulnerable? You may have strong faith for one area of the Covenant. No problem in believing for one promise, yet little faith for another. This is where we need each other. Not everyone has the same blind spot. In the company of believers We all contribute Sharing our strengths Protecting each other’s weakness Standing against the wiles of the enemy United we stand Divided we fall! Lets lock our shields of faith Unity is a mighty weapon. Eph. 6:11

What Manner of Love!

The opening verses of the Gospel of Matthew  list forefathers.  How necessary and important the father is!  One of the greatest gifts Jesus gave us  was to reveal the Father heart of God,  To bring us into relationahip with Father.  To give us a Heavenly Father. To give us a true identity. To adopt us into His family.  Not just a God to stand in awe of. Not just a God to kneel in worship and adoration. But a God who we can come to in intimacy,  Safe and secure in the arms of a Father’s Love. 1 John 3:1
